We are working with a diverse set of partners who are experts in their fields, leaders in the community, and are all vital to the long term success of Gemini. Meet some of the people who are helping build Gemini.
Southern Nevada Environmental, Inc. (SNEI) handles monitoring and environmental compliance work at Gemini. Their survey teams document all sensitive biological resources on site to ensure construction can occurring without disrupting the local ecosystem.
Shawn co-leads a team of 30 biologists dedicated to monitoring the health and well-being of desert tortoises on and around the Gemini project site. They are studying the effects of Gemini’s novel construction process that preserves thousands of acres of habitat for tortoises and other desert species.
Soil Tech’s motto of “Balancing Construction with Nature” encapsulates the company’s work, and why they make an ideal partner for building Gemini. They have partnered on pre-construction activities at Gemini that set new standards for minimizing environmental impacts during solar construction.
Thomas is Primergy’s lead on the ground at Gemini, ensuring all development work on site lives up to the Gemini Model. A native of southern Nevada, Thomas is driven by Primergy’s commitment to leave the smallest imprint possible by building responsibly at all project sites.
Bre leads monitoring work for SNEI at the Gemini site, ensuring that construction activities meet environmental standards and avoid disrupting sensitive plants or animals located on site.
Liz co-leads the team monitoring desert tortoise activity at Gemini, including a long-term research plan to study tortoises living in the habitat preserved by Gemini’s minimal-impact construction processes.
